Statement of Mission
The department ensures that the learners understand the connections within the subject, as well as the applications of mathematics to other disciplines, while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively. It also cultivates learners’ appreciation for the creative nature of mathematics and their participation in the discovery of new results and innovative approaches to problems as lifelong learners who take the responsibility of improving the world they live in effectively
